Objective:

The programme aims at realising the following objectives-

  • To equip postgraduate students with an integrated set of skills that will allow them to develop their professional careers in Information Technology.
  • To equip students with the theoretical and practical knowledge that is necessary to enable them to understand the design of complex computer applications/ science
  • The programme also prepares students to embrace future developments in the field and has a demonstrated professional relevance
  • The programme helps students to acquire the latest skills and build their future capabilities using world-class technology. At the end of this programme, the student will possess a strong foundation of computer systems and information technology
  • Dexterity in advanced programming languages; power to build sophisticated software for wide area of applications
  • Skills to work with higher end applications in internet technologies; also managerial ability to analyze, design, develop and to maintain software development.
  • Eligibility : 3 year Graduation

Provision for Lateral entry to Second Semester :

  • 3 years Graduation and six months computer course from reputed institution.

Note:In this Lateral entry Scheme, students have to appear and pass the previous Semester Examination. Books of second semester will be supplied by the University and Internal Assessment will be completed at the Learning centre

Provision for Direct entry to Third Semester :

  • B.E. (CS/ IT) / B.Tech ( CS/IT )   OR
  • 3 Year Graduation  with
    1. 1 Year PG Diploma in IT/CA from a recognized university   OR
    2. DOEACC   A  Level  OR
    3. 3 year Graduation with 2 year diploma from   NIIT / APTECH

Note: In this Direct entry scheme, students are exempted from appearing the examination for previous semester.

Semester Fee: Rs.12,600/- for semester I & II and Rs.13,600/- from III semester onwards (inclusive of Exam Fee Rs.1200/- & Alumni Fee Rs. 100/-) or as revised from time to time 

Provision for Lateral Entry to II Semester:

Lateral Entry Fee: Rs.6050/- (inclusive of Exam Fee Rs.1200/-) or as revised from time to time.

Provision for Lateral Entry to III Semester:

Lateral Entry Fee: Rs.6550/- (inclusive of Exam Fee Rs.1200/-) or as revised from time to time.

Provision for Direct Entry to III Semester:
